The ability radio documentaries and interviews have to transport the listener instantly to a new location and to create strong emotion with sound alone fascinates me. It has motivated me to constantly strive to find new and creative ways to use sound to tell a story. Here are some of the radio pieces I’ve produced as part of my journalism program.
This is a radio documentary I produced about an Irish wooden flute maker in London, Ontario named Richard Cox. Richard was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland and has been making instruments since the 70s.
This is a short voice report I produced about a spooky little art doll gallery in London, Ontario called Dollirium. Jacqui Gallant – left; Sarah Legault – right.
